Community Engagement and Support

First envisioned in 2011 by the Founders of Grand River Soccer, Kick 4 A Cure was launched in February 2013. The primary purpose of the event is to raise awareness for cancer education and prevention. It is also an opportunity to showcase the Kitchener-Waterloo area as a compassionate, vibrant community where health care, education, commerce and recreation intertwine.

Support Local Healthcare Initiatives

Funds are raised through sponsorships, raffles, pledges and team entry fees. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will be donated to the Grand River Hospital Foundation. Your support of Kick 4 A Cure is an investment in our community.

Our mission is to advance soccer within the community, promote a healthy lifestyle and help foster the culture of soccer in Southwestern Ontario. We do this through year-round soccer related programming that assists participants in reaching their potential.
